The following photo was taken by Nora Yahl on her trip to Balqhidder, Perthshire, Scotland in 2005. The bible was displayed in the Balqhidder Kirk. The following is Nora's description of the church:

"We were staying in Callander and took the day to go to Balquidder. We knew this church associated with Rob Roy McGregor was in this area and we came upon it before seeing anything in relation to our Stewarts. There is a ruin of the old church built in the 1600's with a graveyard surrounding it on three sides and the newer church was nearby. Some of the things that we found inside seem to indicate that this church was still in use, and even though it was Sunday, there was no evidence of any service or anyone even visiting it. There were a number of items of interest inside. One was a baptismal font carved from a huge boulder. No one knows the age of this font. The bell from the original church hung over the door to the Friendship Room at the rear of the newer building. There were two or more pages from a Celtic Bible under glass. The digital camera made it possible to get photos of these things to share with others. This church had been restored within the past ten years by the local congregation of Church of Scotland."
